Panmure Interchange wins Auckland Architecture Award

Opus Architecture has won an architecture award (Public Architecture category) at the Auckland NZIA Branch Awards for the Panmure Interchange project.  Panmure's new $17.5m transport interchange is the gateway to a high frequency busway and is a significant step towards better transport connections for Auckland’s eastern suburbs.

APEGBC Award

25 May 2015

Simon Kras was a winner at the APEGBC Sea-to-Sky Branch Peak of Excellence Award Competition and Gala on May 24 in North Vancouver.

Simon presented on the City of Richmond No. 1 Road Drainage Pump Station project.

New Zealand Engineering Practice Award for Excellence in Community

NZ Transport Agency GEM Awards

6 October 2014

The NZ Transport Agency GEM Awards recognise and celebrate suppliers who ‘Go the Extra Mile' for customer service and safety. The Opus/HEB team won the ‘Teaming Up' Award for the Marlborough Roads Network Outcome Contract. The HEB/Opus JV is the first of its kind in New Zealand for the NZ Transport Agency where two traditionally separate service providers - consultants and contractors, have amalgamated to deliver road maintenance services under a Network Outcome Contract in Marlborough. The JV environment has improved the service delivery to Marlborough Roads by providing a ‘one stop shop' and has also delivered the clients cost savings to the value of $750,000.

Best Paper Award, Institute of Public Works Engineering, Australasia

Warren Bird, Work Group Manager - Water Resources won Best Paper at the IPWEA Conference.   Warren's paper outlines findings from his team’s international review of safety risks posed by stormwater assets and the subsequent development of a GIS-based tool for identifying and scoring risks posed to members of the public. 

Meritorious Service Award
